Creamy Mushroom Risotto
with Basmati Rice

Ideal Rice: Patran 1401 Steam Basmati
Ingredients:
1 cup Patran 1401 Steam Basmati Rice
2 tablespoons butter
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
200g mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup white wine (optional)
4 cups vegetable broth
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
In a pot, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
Stir in the basmati rice and cook for 2 minutes.
Pour in white wine (if using) and cook until absorbed.
Gradually add vegetable broth, one cup at a time, stirring continuously until the rice is creamy and cooked through.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
